公認内部監査人の国際資格（Certified Internal Auditor）取得へ向け、2014年から2017年3月まで3年間、米国のGLEIM PREMIUM CIA REVIEW SYSTEMを使って英語ベースで仕事の傍ら挑戦を続けてきた毎日をご紹介しています。

Part 1,2,3と3回合格するのに11回受けましたので、どうやると落ちるのかを書きました。また、ここでご紹介のGLEIMのAccess Until You Pass^®制度では、レビューシステム掲載問題の90％を解いた実績と、試験結果のコピー、次回試験日の登録メールを送れば、次の試験まで何回でも延長してもらえることになっていました。3年間つきあってきたのですが、システムのコンセプトもさることながら、Q＆Aのレスポンスの良さや、担当教官の励ましに支えられて合格できたと思い、とても感謝しています。当初予備校で授業も日本語でひととおり受け、導入には役立ったのですが、挑戦を続ける決め手はこのシステムでした。

一般に資格は早く取るに越したことはないのですが、仕事や家庭もあり、実地監査に集中しないといけなかったり、また年齢との戦いもあります。CIA試験に落ちたり受かったりしながらもなお勉強を続けるうち、5年間の経費予算で見ればよいと思うようになりました。
合格した翌年までは免除となっている資格維持の為の継続教育が始まると、試験費用と同じくらいはかかると考えれば、遅く受かっても、継続教育が先にかかっているだけ、この業界の住民税だと思って取り組んでいました。

結論としては、GLEIM CIAのコースから、以下がおすすめと考えています。
（英語なので、GLEIM CIA日本語版の書籍との併用が効果的かもしれません。）

・集中的に取り組んで一刻も早く受かりたい方：CIA Test Bankがおすすめです。
圧倒的な問題数と、解説や、正答率の集計、比較、リファレンスが充実していて弱点がすぐにわかり、自分で集計作表する手間が不要。又（特にパート３での）勉強やりすぎ、やらなすぎを防ぐことができます。

・多忙で中断しても挑戦を続けたい方：Premium CIA Reviewがおすすめです。

This blog started in the summer of 2014, is to introduce my life preparing "Certified Internal Auditor, CIA"(The Institute of Internal Auditors, 2017) exam with "GLEIM Premium CIA Review"  (Gleim Publications, Inc. and/or Gleim Internet, Inc., 2017).

I was transferred to the internal audit department after long years of business.  I needed to study what is the internal audit ASAP in English, as the head of the division uses only English.  

As a result of my research for a coach and a tutor with reasonable cost, I had encountered "GLEIM Premium CIA Review" (GLEIM, 2017) at the end of 2012.  At first, I mainly liked its slide presentation with audio, currently "GLEIM Instruct Video Lectures and Audio Lectures"(GLEIM, 2017) for my English skill-building.  But now that I passed, I very much appreciate "Exam mentoring from Personal Counselors", "Assistance from our Accounting Experts", "Comprehensive test bank of questions", and mostly "Access Until You Pass® Guarantee" (GLEIM, 2017).
